Tnalak MPC Supports Sagip Batang Manggagawa Advocacy

Tnalak Multipurpose Cooperative recently showed its strong support for the Sagip Batang Manggagawa (SBM) advocacy by actively participating in the 2025 SBM Freedom Run. This event, organized by the Banana Industry Tripartite Council XI (BITC-XI) and DOLE XI, aimed to raise awareness about creating a child labor-free environment and protecting Indigenous children from exploitation in the banana industry.

Held on June 14, 2025, at the New Tagum City Hall Grounds, the fun run gathered stakeholders from across the banana industry. Tnalak MPC demonstrated its solidarity with this cause by sending 36 attendees from its Panabo, Sto. Tomas, and Maragusan branches, along with its Chairman of the Board.

Beyond participation, Tnalak MPC also served as a sponsor for the event, highlighting its commitment to responsible business practices and collaboration within the banana industry. Through such engagements, Tnalak MPC reinforces its dedication to social responsibility and the well-being of every Filipino child.
